Press the cup down from the top and the silicone collapses into a flat disc in seconds. The fold is slow and springy with no sharp creases, so the cup slides into a jacket pocket without a fight. Pull the body back up and it locks into full height.
Snap the lid, pull it open
The snap-on lid clicks down over the rim and stays put in a bag. The pull tab on top gives you something to lift against, and the push-button vent sits in the lid. Press the lid down all the way around before you pack it.
