One-touch automatic opening for jars and bottles with no grip strength needed
- weak grip or arthritic hands struggling with tight lids
- difficulty opening jam and pickle jars
- slipping or stripping lids
- messy manual tin opening
Open any jar with one press
Stop fighting stubborn lids with sore wrists. Place it on the jar, press once, and enjoy the independence of opening it yourself.
Clamp, turn, and open in one press
- Clamps the lid for you
The jaw closes on the lid and the ridged pads hold it still. The auto-rotating grip then turns the lid, so you are never the one doing the twisting. Jars you used to set aside now come open without a fight.
- One press to open
One press on the black button starts the full cycle. Nothing needs to be held, twisted or steadied during the turn, and that is the part that strains wrists and knuckles most.
- Fits most lids
The jaw adjusts to the lid in front of you, so one opener covers a wide range of jam, pickle and bottle caps. Ridged grip pads keep the lid from slipping while it turns.
Place it, press it, done
- 1Load two AA batteries
Fit two 1.5V AA batteries. They are not included, so keep a pack on hand before the first jar.
- 2Set it on the lid
Place the opener on top of the jar or bottle so the jaw sits over the lid. The ridged pads should meet the edge of the lid.
- 3Press the black button
One press starts the cycle. The clamp grips, and the lid begins to turn without you holding the unit. Browse our jar openers if you want to compare options.
- 4Lift the lid off
The opener finishes in seconds. Lift the lid free and move on to the next jar.

The jaw is adjustable and takes a wide range of lid sizes, from jam and pickle jars to canned goods and bottles. Very small lids are the one case where the jaw needs a moment to settle, so test it on your smallest jar first.
It runs on two AA batteries (1.5V each). Batteries are not included, so pick up a pack when you order.
Yes, that is the whole point. You set the opener on the lid and press one button. The turning happens inside the unit, so you never have to grip the jar and twist.
A manual opener still asks your hand to grip and turn, and rubber mats still need strength. This one clamps the lid and does the turning, so the job becomes one press. For tins, a can opener is the simpler tool.
A basic manual opener costs less up front, but it leaves the hard part to your hands. This one uses glossy plastic, ridged grip pads and an adjustable jaw, and it takes the struggle out of every jar you open. If you open jars daily, you stop paying for wrist strain.
